Effective date: 11 June 2026
Aligner Timer is built so that your data stays yours. The short version: we don't collect, sell, or share any of your data — ever.
Aligner Timer records the information you enter while using the app: when your aligners are in or out, your treatment plan (number of trays, days per tray, start date, wear goal), discomfort ratings, and your settings. This data is stored:
None. Aligner Timer has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, no user accounts, and no servers of our own. We never see your wear history or anything else you do in the app.
Reminders (for example, "put your trays back in") are scheduled locally on your device. Notification content never leaves your device.
You can export your wear history as a CSV or PDF from Settings. Exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To remove synced data from iCloud, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete Aligner Timer's data, or start a new treatment in the app's settings.
Aligner Timer does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Aligner Timer is a wear-time tracking aid. It does not provide medical advice. Always follow the instructions of your orthodontist or dentist.
If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
